How to Use the CanoniR600 Series Printer/Copy Machine at CVC

  1. Once your document is ready for printing, select FILE---- PRINT and the printer dialog box will open. Select the CanonIR600 series printer from the list. Click on the properties button, to change default settings.

In the Print Dialog box, select the middle school CanonIR printer (copy machine). Clilck on the Properties button.

2.The CanonIR 600 series property dialog box  will open

Here you can select page size, output scaling, number of copies, page orientation, number of document pages per sheet… or take default settings as shown.

3.Click on the Finishing Tab

Here you can choose to print one-sided, two-sided, or book style. You can also choose to collate, group, staple, rotate, hole-punch, and z-fold (Those options don’t show here, because the sample document I am using only consists of one word!)

4.Click on the page setup

If you know what color paper is in which drawer, you can select different sheets for different pages of your documents… or use the default auto settings.

5. Click on the Quality button

To get the best quality print out for your job, select the type of document that best fits what you are trying to print.

No matter what, printing directly from your computer will produce clearer copies than a copy of a copy!

6.When finished Click Apply, OK. Then the Print dialog box will appear again. Click OK to start printing.
